Application according to need
During a prophylaxis or periodontal session, the Supra and Perio functions can be used to switch between supragingival and subgingival powder jet application as needed. Two different Lunos® prophylaxis powders can be used, simply alternating between them. In addition, you can switch from powder jet (Polishing) to ultrasonics (Ultrasound) during treatment if necessary. Protection against clogging: a constant air flow reliably prevents deposits in the hose system and protects the unit from clogging.
Clear, hygienic display
All functions can be controlled quickly and intuitively, even during treatment. Thanks to its smooth surface, the entire unit can be cleaned and disinfected quickly and easily. For this we recommend FD 322 premium wipes from our Hygiene range. To clean and disinfect the components as well, we recommend ID 213 instrument disinfection.
Flexible water system
MyLunos Duo® has a fixed water connection for both spray (Polishing) and ultrasonic (Ultrasound) applications, plus an additional clip-on water tank with a 500 ml fill volume for ultrasonics. Depending on requirements, the appropriate water supply can be selected for the ultrasonic application. The water is heated to a temperature that is comfortable for the patient.
360° foot control
All application functions are activated via the modern foot switch. Thanks to its round shape and compact size, it can be ideally positioned on the floor and operated flexibly from all sides.
Interchangeable SUPRA and PERIO nozzles
Two different nozzles are available for supragingival and subgingival use. Each can be rotated through 360° and allows easy access to the hardest-to-reach areas of the patient's mouth. The two nozzles can be exchanged quickly and easily during treatment. The exclusive compatibility of the nozzles with the MyLunos® handpiece allows flexible use of the accessories.

Scaler instrument with LED illumination
Particularly light, easy-to-handle scaler handpiece with LED illumination for an optimal view of the working area in the patient's mouth. A wide range of different instruments is available to meet your needs. Depending on the instrument used, the corresponding power level can easily be selected via the touch display.
Supra
Function for supragingival use in combination with the Supra nozzle and the Supra powder container. For this application, Lunos® Gentle Clean prophylaxis powders are available in Neutral, Spearmint, Orange and Wild Berry flavours.
Perio
Function for subgingival application in combination with the Perio nozzle with sterile disposable tip and the Perio powder container. For this application, Lunos® Perio Combi prophylaxis powder is available in Neutral flavour.
Refill
The refill function releases the pressure in the powder containers and allows them to be opened and removed without first switching off the unit - for flexible refilling with Lunos®.
Scaler/Perio Scaler
Functions for ultrasonic application with the scaler handpiece. Depending on the type of instrument, the appropriate function can be selected at different power levels. The scaler function is mainly suited to supragingival use, the perio scaler function to subgingival treatment.
Tank Water/Fresh Water
Functions for supplying the water needed during ultrasonic and powder jet treatment. For ultrasonic application, water can be supplied via a fixed connection or via the attachable water tank with a 500 ml fill volume for prophylaxis treatment. For the polishing function, water is supplied exclusively via the fixed connection. The water supply can be adjusted on the unit for all areas.
Flush
Function for flushing and cleaning the unit's hose systems before use, before changing powder during treatment and for reprocessing after use. Flushing is activated by the foot switch. An ultrasonic flush takes about 23 seconds, a polishing flush about 40 seconds.
