Vector: the power of ultrasound

More than 20 years ago, DÜRR DENTAL developed the innovative linear deflection of oscillations and, with the Vector^® system, set a new standard for pain-free, minimally invasive periodontal therapy. The ultrasonic energy is deflected in a linear direction so that the operator can move the instruments parallel to the root surface. This allows you to work with minimal vibration, fully in line with the concept of effective, minimally invasive clinical therapy.

The world's only ultrasonic technique of its kind

The Vector principle^® effectively deflects the ultrasonic oscillation, creating a linear up-and-down movement. The central element is a resonance ring, which is briefly deformed by high-frequency stimulation and then returns to its starting position. With this ultra-fast change of shape, the resonance ring converts the ultrasonic oscillations by 90° into a linear movement of the instruments. The instruments therefore move axially, parallel to the tooth surface, allowing vibration-free work.

Outstanding tactile sensitivity

With Vector^® Paro you can rely on your sense of touch during treatment. Thanks to the unique deflection of oscillations, the operator can precisely control highly sensitive work, as the ultrasonic instruments produce no vibration. Even during treatment, the quality of the surface being treated can be checked with a high degree of tactile sensitivity. This is possible thanks to the linear movement of the instruments. This allows optimal, vibration-free work with tactile control comparable to that of a diagnostic probe. Thanks to the movement of the instruments parallel to the root surface, Vector^® Paro can be used for efficient, atraumatic clinical treatment.

Always ready to use

A large removable tank allows you to work without a fixed water connection. This means the Vector^® unit can be used in different rooms.

Vector and Scaler handpieces

Both handpieces stand out for their excellent ergonomics. The Vector^® handpiece, with its unique deflection of oscillations, allows particularly gentle subgingival treatment. The Scaler handpiece has 6 powerful LEDs for optimal visibility. Both handpieces are exceptionally easy to use.

Hygienic surfaces

The clear control panel is intuitive to use. The gap-free surfaces meet the highest hygiene requirements. The unit automatically reminds you to clean it regularly and makes it easy to flush the fluid-carrying lines. Handpieces and instruments can be reprocessed for validated manual or automatic reprocessing.

The Dürr Dental Scaler handpiece enables professional tooth cleaning at the highest level. Delicate instruments for supragingival and subgingival use remove deposits effectively and gently at the same time.

Thanks to the piezoceramic drive, deposits can be removed effectively while preserving tissue structures as much as possible. The Scaler handpiece can be partially dismantled, making cleaning and disinfection easier.
