IDS Sporigerm Peracetic Plus cold sterilant and disinfectant, 500 g

IDS Sporigerm® Peracetic Plus – Cold Sterilant and Disinfectant (500 g)

Sporigerm® Peracetic Plus is a broad-spectrum water-soluble powder system which, once dissolved in water, generates peracetic acid for sterilisation and high-level disinfection of medical-surgical instruments. It is the solution of choice for treating delicate, heat-sensitive instruments, offering complete protection against spores, viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV), bacteria and fungi in just 10 minutes.

Complete Safety for Delicate Instruments

• Alternative to the Autoclave: Specifically formulated for cold sterilisation of devices that would be damaged by heat, such as fibre optics, endoscopes, handpieces and rubber or plastic instruments.

• Rapid Sporicidal Efficacy: Achieves the highest level of decontamination (chemical sterilisation) in just 10 minutes, ensuring safety even in situations of high biological risk.

• Guaranteed Stability: Once prepared, the solution remains active and stable for 24 hours, allowing multiple immersion cycles throughout the working day without losing germicidal power.

• Multi-Material Compatibility: Rigorously tested on metals, alloys, rubbers and polymers; it can also be used successfully for deep sanitisation of suction systems.

Operational Benefits

• Biodegradable: After use, the solution breaks down into water, oxygen and acetic acid, making it environmentally friendly and suitable for disposal directly into the sewer system.

• Versatility: Fully compatible for use in ultrasonic cleaners, where the mechanical effect accelerates the removal of organic residues and the penetration of the peracetic acid.

• Easy Storage: The 500 g powder format is compact, easy to store and avoids the waste typical of ready-to-use liquids.

Contact Times and Dilution

• Complete Sterilisation: 10 minutes (active against Spores, TB, Viruses, Bacteria, Fungi).

• Rapid Disinfection (HIV-HBV-HCV): 5 minutes.
