Worthy of note is the ingredient “Betaine”, which more efficiently than glycerin,
• humidifies,
• protects against mechanical and chemical irritation and
• keeps the skin perfectly soft and supple.
Thanks to this ingredient, the formulation does not have a sticky sensation on the skin, does not interfere with the cellular mechanism, does not upset the electrostatic balance of the cell and does not disturb the cellular structures. Betaine monohydrate, of pharmaceutical grade, obtained from sugar beet molasses, is an amphoteric amino acid, of natural origin, hydrating, which reduces irritation, modifies the “skin feel” and reduces dryness of the skin and mucous membranes. Thanks to the inclusion of thyme and lemon essences, VIROXID HANDS GEL is delicately scented.

The great advantage of using the formulation is that hand disinfection can be carried out anywhere, regardless of the presence of sponges and water. VIROXID HANDS GEL is suitable for disinfecting the hands of healthcare personnel in general and in the surgical field. The solution can also be used at home, thanks to its ease of use. In the healthcare field it is used in all departments where hand hygiene or antisepsis is important such as:
• hospital wards,
• functional areas (operating rooms, intensive care units),
• ambulances,
• laboratories,
• diagnostic clinics and
• for home care of elderly people and children.
VIROXID HANDS GEL is very practical to use as it does not require the addition of water for washing or rinsing. Furthermore, unlike alcoholic solutions, the gel pharmaceutical form allows for the correct dosage and easy application on the skin of the hands without losing product during rubbing.
1. Hand antisepsis: rub 3 ml (equal to 2 pumps of the dispenser) of product on dry hands for 30 seconds and leave to dry.
2. Surgical hand disinfection: with 3 ml of product (equal to 2 pumps of the dispenser) spray evenly the entire surface of the hands and dry forearms – rub for 30 seconds and let dry. Repeat the operation a second time.
3. at home before cooking or when caring for the sick; outside the home, in case of contact with surfaces and objects handled by others, for example on public transport, in toilets, in warehouses, etc. – rub with 3 ml of product until hands dry.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Apply enough gel to moisten both hands. Rub together until they feel dry.
