The different active ingredients make it VIROXID SD20 WIPES RAPID a disinfectant product active on gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia, Pseudomonas), gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus sp., methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus – MRSA, Enterococci), yeasts (Candida), viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV, Adeno and Polio viruses) and acid-fast microbacteria or bacilli (Mycobacterium tuberculosis).
The quaternary ammonium salts benzalkonium chloride and didecyldimethylammonium chloride have bactericidal activity against Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococci, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, Proteus, Enterobacter and Serratia.
The biocidal activity of Chlorhexidine is directed mainly towards vegetative bacteria, especially gram-positive. One of the peculiar characteristics of this formulation is the synergic action of the different active ingredients with different mechanisms of action and targets. This allows a single product to respond to different ideal requirements of a disinfectant for medical surgical instruments. In fact, it is characterized by rapid action, without the need for rinsing, the ability to act in the presence of organic material and has a persistent and cumulative effect.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
VIROXID SD20 WIPES RAPID is a ready-to-use wipe. Remove the wipe from the flowpack. Spread the solution evenly over the surface using a circular motion. Allow to dry, allowing a contact time of at least 5 minutes. Do not rinse.
