Silfradent 801 AW wet model trimmer with diamond disc

Wet 801-801 DW

The Silfradent 801 and 801 DW wet model trimmers offer the following advantages:

• Powerful continuous-duty motor that turns the disc at 2800 rpm while maintaining constant torque;
• Special structural design to contain the escape of water and dust;
• Continuous water flow that helps cool and rinse the disc;
• The machine is fitted with a solenoid valve and a tap to adjust the water jet.

Silfradent special feature
Lubrication system to ensure long motor life. This device prevents water from seeping into the space between the disc and the motor, which would cause bearing failure. An aluminium support has also been added to cushion the pressure on the disc and prevent dangerous deformation.

Dry 801 S- 801 SD

trim the model avoiding dimensional changes caused by moisture, while also reducing drying times and the problems arising from legal requirements for the disposal of processing waste.

The Silfradent 801 S and 801 SD dry model trimmers have the following main features:

• Powerful continuous-duty motor that turns the disc at 2800 rpm while maintaining considerable torque;
• Special structural design to contain the escape of water and dust;
• Dust is extracted by connecting a high-power (900 W) suction unit (Art. 801ASP) to the machine. Pressing the switch starts the machine and the suction unit at the same time;
• The inner casing is cleaned periodically simply by removing the front cover, unscrewing the fixing screws with a hex key.

Technical specifications

• Power supply: 230 V 50/60 Hz (110 V optional);
• Thermal-magnetic circuit breaker with automatic trip;
• Speed: 2,800 rpm;
• Power consumption: 800 W.

Version

• 801: wet model trimmer with carborundum disc, automatic control with solenoid valve and water metering tap;

Discs for 801-801DW wet model trimmers:

• 801DISCRIC carborundum disc: economical and usable on both sides;
• 801DISCDI diamond disc: durable, with slow and even wear.

Discs for 801 S-801 SD dry model trimmers:

• 801DISCART abrasive cloth disc;
• 801DISCDI diamond disc: durable, with slow and even wear.

The diamond disc must be used with care: avoid contact with metal objects, which could cause premature wear. The average life of this disc is about 5 years (based on trimming 50 models a day).

Dimensions and weight

• Dimensions: WxDxH 30x38x32 cm;
• Disc outer diameter: 25.4 cm;
• Disc inner diameter: 2.5 cm;
• Weight: 18 kg.

Graduated table

All model trimmers come with a graduated aluminium table that can be positioned at 90° to the disc, with a tilt range of 10° up and down.
